Rough Cut Feeback
My group and myself began editing what we collected for horror film introduction would far. We ended up showing our fellow peers our rough cut of what we had done so far so that we coul receive feedback on what went well and what we could have done better;
What Went Well;
What Went Well;
- Some said the acting looked natural and that it was a good thing like how normal teenagers would have acted.
- the storyline is good and the use of camera angles are good even the film shot in the style of 'Paranormal Activity'.
- Storyline is clear and easy to understand as well as the handheld camera technique.
- Only relevant things were being recorded, the acting didn't look forced and music helped build suspense and matched what was happening very well.
- Even though my group wanted to add changes the peers said they understood the transitions.
- The use of props (contact lenses) was good as it showed the change within (possession).
- Good use of sound for tension, the darkness and the lighting used really matched what happened to create extra effect.
- Looked home-made to match the effect used, red wall paper showed the use of Mis en scene which was a good use of colour.
- A variety use of camera shots even though the handheld technique was used.
- The use of heavy breathing was confusing and kind of hard to understand what was going on.
- The lighting was a bit dark, a little better.
- Allow the changes to be clearer and the fact my character (Shariece) leaves the room.
- More emphasis on the fit scene
